Allgemeines
Die umfangreichen integrierten Überwachungsfunktionen
für alle Ausgangsparameter mit einstellbaren Verzögerun-
gen vereinfachen einen Prüfaufbau und machen externe
eine übersichtliche Darstellung der eingestellten Werte,
der aktuellen Ausgangsdaten, des Betriebzustandes und
der aktuellen Belegung der Tastatur.
Für alle benötigten Informationen und Einstellungen wird
der Anwender durch ein übersichtliches Menü geführt.
Eingang
Die Geräte besitzen alle eine aktive PFC und sind für den
weltweiten Einsatz mit einem Netzeingang von 90V bis
264V AC ausgelegt.
Ausgang
Zur Verfügung stehen Geräte mit einer Ausgangsspannung
von 16V bis 360V, Ströme von 4A bis 60A und Leistungen
Frontseite der Geräte.
Ausgangsstufe die bei hoher Ausgangsspannung den
Strom oder bei hohem Ausgangsstrom die Spannung
so reduziert, daß die maximale Ausgangsleistung nicht
überschritten wird. Bei den Geräten mit 1,5kW wird die
Ausgangsleistung bei einer Eingangsspannung <150VAC
auf 1kW derated.
Überspannungsschutz (OVP)
Um die angeschlossenen Verbraucher vor Zerstörung zu
schützen kann ein Überspannungsschutz (OVP) eingestellt
werden. Beim Überschreiten des eingestellten Wertes wird
der Ausgang abgeschaltet und es wird eine Warnmeldung
als akustisches Signal und als Statusmeldung auf der ana-
logen Schnittstelle und im Display ausgegeben.
Alarmmanagement
Um die Ausgangsspannung und den Ausgangsstrom
zu überwachen können Unter- und Obergrenzen einge-
stellt werden. Dem Anwender stehen drei Möglichkeiten
zur Verfügung wie das Netzteil beim Verlassen dieses
Arbeitsbereichs reagieren soll. Eine Meldung wirkt sich
nicht auf den Ausgang aus und wird so lange sie ansteht
auf dem Display angezeigt. Warnungen bleiben hingegen
auch dann bestehen wenn die Werte wieder im normalen
Bereich sind, sie müssen dann vom Anwender quittiert
werden. Alarme schalten den Ausgang direkt ab wenn ein
Wert überschritten wird. Warnungen und Alarme können
akustisch signalisiert werden.
Fernfühlung (Sense)
Der vorhandene Sense-Eingang (Fernfühlung) kann
direkt am Verbraucher angeschlossen werden um den
Spannungsabfall auf den Lastleitungen zu kompensieren.
Das Gerät erkennt selbstständig wenn die Senseleitungen
angeschlossen sind und regelt die Ausgangsspannung
direkt am Verbraucher.
Anzeige- und Bedienelemente
Istwerte und Sollwerte von Ausgangsspannung, Strom
dargestellt. Die Betriebszustände des Gerätes, die Menü-
führung und die momentane Belegung der Folientastatur
werden im Display so angezeigt daß es dem Anwender
möglich ist das Gerät intuitiv zu bedienen.
Mittels Inkrementalgebern können Spannung, Strom,
Leistung und optional der Innenwiderstand eingestellt
werden. Sie dienen außerdem dazu Einstellungen im Menü
vornehmen zu können.
Zum Schutz gegen Fehlbedienung können die Bedienele-
mente gesperrt werden.

General
The extensive integrated monitoring functions for all output
parameters with adjustable delays of alerts simplify test
assembly, such that the usual external monitoring is mostly
unnecessary.
The easily readable graphic display shows a clear repre-
sentation of set values, actual output values, the operatio-
nal state and the current functions of the operation press
buttons.
For all necessary information and adjustments the user is
guided by a clear menu.
Input
The equipment uses an active Power Factor Correction
to enable using it worldwide on a mains input from 90V
up to 264V AC.
Output
Output voltages between 16V and 360V, output currents
between 4A and 60A and output powers between 320W
and 1500W are available.
The output terminal is located in the front panel.
Units with more than 1kW output power are equipped with
voltage by reduced output current or a higher output cur-
rent by reduced output voltage, always regulated by the
maximum output power. So, a wide application-spectrum
can be covered with an unit.

Alarm management
For monitoring the correct output voltage and output cur-
If the deviation exceeds the adjusted limits, three possibili-
ties are available as to how the appliance should react.
- Signals are displayed only; even the fault is still active,
without affecting to the output.
- Warnings remain active and must be acknowledged after
the fault is removed.
- Alarms will shut off the output instantly in case the devia-
tion exceed the adjusted limits.
Alarms and Warnings can be signalled audibly.
Remote sense
The standard sense input can be connected directly to
the load in order to compensate voltage drops along the
power leads. If the sense input is connected to the load,
the power supply will be adjusting the output voltage au-
tomatically to make ensure the accurate required voltage
is available at the load.
Display and controls
Set values and actual values of output voltage, output
current and output power are clearly represented on the
graphic display. The operating state of the device, the menu
guidance and the current assignment of the pushbuttons
are also shown on the display. So the user is able to operate
the unit intuitively.
The adjustment of output voltage, output current and out-
put power, or optional internal resistance, is realised by
two rotary encoders. The rotary encoders are required for
changing values in the different menus as well.
To prevent unintentional operations, all operation controls
may be locked.
