For all products plated with either Gold or GXT™, plating specifications will be changed to allow

gold or GXT™ plating. GXT™ plating, a proven technology, incorporates palladium and gold to

provide durability and protection that meets the performance of gold alone. All connectors will continue

to meet the performance characteristics documented on their customer drawings and in the product

specification.

FCI will switch to performance based plating
