PCI Interface
The IXP42X product line and IXC1100 control plane processors’ PCI controller is an
industry-standard, 32-bit interface, high-performance, low-latency system bus that
operates at either 33 or 66 MHz. It is compliant with the PCI Local Bus Specification,
Rev. 2.2.
The PCI Controller supports operation as a PCI host and implements a PCI arbiter for a
system containing up to four external PCI devices.
