Die Steckverbindung der Serie C 146 HvE sind wie folgt aus der Baureihe C 146 E abgeleitet:
The connectors of series C 146 HvE are based on series C 146 E with the following deviations:
Die 3, 6 und 10-pol. HVE-Kontakteinsätze gehen aus den 10, 16 und 24-pol. Isolierkörpern der Baureihe C 146 E durch
Teilbestückung und 2 zusätzlichen, nacheilenden Schaltkontakten hervor.
Lediglich die Polzahl 16 HVE besitzt in der Steckgeometrie abweichende Kontaktträger. Ihre äußeren Abmessungen sind
jedoch mit denen der Polzahl 24, Serie C 146 E identisch.
Die nacheilenden Schaltkontakte ermöglichen den Anschluss einer Schützwicklung zum Zweck der elektrischen Ver-
riegelung. Das bedeutet spannungslose Buchseneinsätze im ungesteckten Zustand.
Werden Steckverbinder ohne Schaltleistung als Steckverbinder mit Schaltleistung eingesetzt, so müssen die
elektrischen Leistungsdaten gemäß den Angaben des Herstellers reduziert werden. Diese Angaben sind beim Hersteller
zu erfragen.
C 146 E-Stifteinsätze (400 V) und C 146 HvE-Buchseneinsätze sind nicht miteinander steckbar, da
a) bei den 3, 6 und 10-pol. Buchseneinsätzen 2 nicht belegte Kontaktkammern verschlossen sind. (Blindstopfen).
b) die 16-pol. HVE-Kontaktträger eine abweichende Steckgeometrie besitzen.
The HVE-inserts with 3, 6 and 10 contacts are basically the same as the 10, 16 and 24-contacts inserts of series C 146 E.
However they are only partly loaded with contacts and have two delayed mating pilot duty contacts.
Only type 16 HVE has special inserts with a different contact arrangement. The mounting dimensions are however
identical with the 24 contacts version of C 146 E.
The delayed mating contacts are intended for switching a relay coil for electrically locking in order to have unloaded
socket contacts in an unmated condition.
If connectors without breaking capacity are used as connectors with breaking capacity the electrical power data must be
reduced in accordance with the manufacturer's specification. These specifications are available from the manufacturer.
C 146 E inserts with pin contacts are not intermatable with C 146 HvE inserts with socket contacts due to
a) two empty contact holes are closed at 3, 6 and 10 contact inserts.
b) the 16 contacts HVE insert has a different contact arrangement.
Verwendet werden beim 16-pol. HvE-Kontakteinsatz C 146 E-Gehäuse mit Isolationsauskleidung. (Isolationsfolie an
Innenwand). Die Sperrstege an den Gehäuseinnenwänden (Schmalseite), die das Einsetzen der 660 V-Kontaktträger in
400 V-Gehäusen verhindern, sind entfernt. Der 16-pol. HvE-Einsatz mit stirnseitigem Sperrstück ist jetzt montierbar.
C 146 E housings with an inside insulation (plastic foil) are used for the 16-contacts insert.
The inside barriers at the narrow sides preventing mounting of 660 V-inserts in 400 V housings are removed and the
16-contacts insert is now mountable.
