The small, rugged and waterproof* solution for

As the need for storing, transporting and accessing critical medical records

and other personal information continues to grow, SanDisk now offers

a super-small, extremely hardy, waterproof USB flash drive to meet

the increasing demands of the military, healthcare, emergency rescue

and response, and other markets that need rugged, wearable storage.

The newest addition to the growing line of Hi-Speed USB 2.0 flash

drives from SanDisk is small and stylish enough to be carried daily on

a key chain or worn on a necklace, yet rugged and durable enough to

withstand the harshest, most severe working environments of everyday life.

The SanDisk USB Flash Drive contains several safeguards against loss or damage.

It is put through a special, low pressure overmolding process that seals the elec-

tronic components inside, making it waterproof. The SanDisk USB Flash Drive also

features a specially designed, clear plastic cap that is always attached to the lan-

yard, assuring that the cap and lanyard remain securely fastened. Additionally, the

cap features a unique latching mechanism that securely holds the USB drive in

place and prevents accidental loss.

This USB Flash Drive is ideal for a wide range of emerging applications where

small size, high durability, and ease of use are critical, including:

Military: for storing soldiers' personal medical records and other

personal information in the field, so that it can be easily read and

written to in the field by ruggedized notebooks or PDAs equipped

with a USB to PC Card adapter
