Datasheet
The MAX8830 light management IC integrates a 280mA
PWM DC-DC step-up converter, a 200mA white LED
camera flash current sink, and four programmable LED
current sinks. The internal 1MHz step-up converter fea-
tures an internal switching MOSFET and synchronous
rectifier to improve efficiency and minimize external
component count. The camera flash output current and
maximum timer is programmable through I
current is individually regulated to a programmable level
(from off to 10mA in 32 steps) and is completely inde-
pendent of each other.

flash timer duration settings, and individual LED current
sink settings.
The MAX8830 is available in a 16-bump UCSP™ pack-
age (2.5mm x 2.5mm).
