General Description

Tape & Reel

Surface mount and TO-92 devices are available in tape and reel packaging. Surface mount compo-

nents are retained in an embossed carrier tape by a cover tape. TO-92 device leads are secured

to a backing tape by a cover tape. The tape is spooled on standard size reels.

Tape & Reel Standards

Embossed tape and reel packaging conforms to ANSI/EIA-481-C-2003 with exception of

SOT-23, SC-70, TSOT, SOT-143 and SOT-223.
