Riverside, California - TO BE RELEASED DECEMBER 23, 2010 - Bourns is pleased to announce the release of
its TBU-DT and TBU-KE Series. These products are low capacitance unidirectional high speed protection
components, constructed using MOSFET semiconductor technology, and designed to protect against faults
caused by short circuits, AC power cross, induction and lightning surges. The TBU-DT Series offers a dual
channel option while the TBU-KE Series are single channel devices.
This Bourns® TBU® high speed protector placed in the system circuit will monitor the current with the
MOSFET detection circuit triggering, therefore providing an effective barrier for sensitive electronics against
large voltages or currents during surge events.
The TBU-DT and TBU-KE Series are available in a surface mount DFN package which meets industry
standard requirements such as RoHS* and Pb Free solder refl ow profi les.
