Mounting clips can be used free-hanging as a positive lock to
provide a secondary means of securing the connector halves.
Mated connector pairs can be snapped into the clip for fixed
mounting using a screw or cable tie. The wires of one of the
connectors can be passed through an integral retention ring
which captivates one of the connector halves to the clip.
