Change of Plastic Raw Material (Valox to Arnite) used in Dsub insulator
As part of the standardisation of insulator raw material used in Dsub connectors (used in low
temperature applications only) made in FCI India, and those transferred to India from FCI France, we
propose to change the raw material brand used from Valox 420SE0 (PBT) 30% Glass Reinforced
Flame Retarded Plastic to Arnite TV4 261SF (PBT) 30% Glass Reinforced Flame Retarded Plastic.
This will also help in improving sourcing and inventory complexities. This change will have no impact on
the form, fit or function of the connector. There would also be no change in the part number of the
connectors affected.
