ment are suitable for long distance measurements
offering constant performance along the entire range.
Resolution represents the minimum dimension, or the
smallest target detected by the sensor.
Linearity indicates the maximum deviation of the
analog output with respect to the ideal value and is
expressed as a percentage of the full range.
Temperature drift indicates the maximum deviation in
relation to variations in the sensor temperature and is
expressed in mm/ºC.
Finally, repeatability represents the variation of the
measurement made different times on a target at the
same distance.
