2. Hot stamping
For large batches it is worth while to have
the lettering produced by hot stamping.
Typefaces
For letters and figures, typefaces with 2.5
mm, 3 mm and 4 mm are available.

3. Film inserts
Instead of being engraved, the lenses can
have a film inserted, possibllly backed by a
colour foil, placed between the lens plate
and the marking plate.
