ABB SACE watertight boxes with
IP55 protection rating are made
of self-extinguishing thermoplastic
resistant to abnormal heat and fire up
to 960°C (glow wire test) according
to IEC 60695-2-1 standards. The
range is extremely versatile: there are
versions with smooth sides or with
cable holder inlets, with opaque
covers (grey RAL 7035) or transparent
ones, high or low. The base of the box
has special seats for securing terminal
boards and various accessories. The
boxes consist of a patented cover
produced with the seal during a single
moulding stage.
All of the junction boxes have
obtained the IMQ approval mark and
are made in conformity with CEI 23-
48 and IEC 60670 standards.
