Data Sheet sheet updated as follows:

1)Removed all references to TMP05 coefficients. Using this function on the ADT7470 affects correct operation of the part.

2) Removed all references to Enhanced acoustics, register 0x75. These features are not available on the ADT7470.

3)Removed NORM & OOL interrupt mask bits,register 0x73[3] & register 0x72[7]. These bits have no functional effect.

4)Removed Fan free wheel test description. This is not functional on the ADT7470.

5)Added section on Temperature Data Format.

6)Additional detail added to Manual fan speed control & Automatic Fan Speed control sections.

7)Added recommendation not to use Automatic fan speed control when temperatures < 8 DegC.

8)Deleted 'This bit is not set when the PWM output is off', in description of register 0x42[7:4].

Other minor changes to ADT7470 functional description.

Changes to the ADT7470 data sheet functional description, to accurately reflect capabilities of the part. ADT7470 data sheets Rev 0,A & B described

functionality that was not available on the ADT7470. This information has been removed or corrected in data sheet Rev.C.

No changes to ADT7470 silicon.

Applies to all ADT7470 msterial.
