Status Bytes
The DS18B20 requires a resistor between 1K and 4.7K between the data line and the +5V rail. A
DS18S20 may also be used if the higher resolution of the DS18B20 is not required.
NOTE: This interface will not work with the 50MHz upgrade.
Reprogramming and Customising the firmware
In order to reprogram the original or any customised firmware into the USB I/O 24 you will require
a SX Key programmer. These programmers are available from Parallax. For further information on

The firmware for the USB I/O 24 is available on request. Please contact
50MHz Upgrades
Upgrades are available to run the SX48 at 50MHz clock speed instead of using the internal 4MHz
clock.
