Eight position modules shall be used in all work areas and
modular patch panels and shall meet the TIA/EIA-568-B.2-1
Category 6 standard. Modules shall be tested and approved
for Category 6 ETL component compliance. The module
termination to 4 pair 24 – 22 AWG 100 ohm solid unshielded
twisted pair cable shall be accomplished by use of a forward
motion termination cap and shall not require the use of a
punchdown tool. All modules shall be 100% tested for NEXT
performance. The termination cap shall be color coded for
T568A and T568B wiring schemes.
