The UART module is one of the serial I/O modules
available in PIC32MX5XX/6XX/7XX family devices.
The UART is a full-duplex, asynchronous communica-
tion channel that communicates with peripheral
devices and personal computers through protocols,
such as RS-232, RS-485, LIN 1.2 and IrDA
module also supports the hardware flow control option,
with UxCTS and UxRTS pins, and also includes an
IrDA encoder and decoder.
