C.1.3 Reset Generator
The RCM4000 uses a reset generator to reset the Rabbit 4000 microprocessor when the volt-
age drops below the voltage necessary for reliable operation. The reset occurs between
2.85 V and 3.00 V, typically 2.93 V. Since the RCM4000 will operate at voltages as low as
3.0 V, exercise care when operating close to the 3.0 V minimum voltage (for example, keep
the power supply as close as possible to the RCM4000) since your RCM4000 could reset
unintentionally.
The RCM4000 has a reset output, pin 3 on header J2.
