TYPE MTD

Description

MTD D-Subminiature interface modules are intended

for application in electronic industrial control circuits,

separates control and distribution wiring such as

microprocessor interfaces with conventional process

control components. An assortment of male or female

D-Sub configurations in 9, 15, 25, 37, and 50 poles

are available.

Electronic side (Input form the control system): The

connector shell is independently grounded to the input

connector. The D-Subminiature connectors (socket

mounted on PCB) are equipped with conventional

threaded standoffs (UNC 4-40), inside thread, female

and are compatible with all standard industrial

hardware.

Electrical side (output to the field): The 5 mm spacing

terminal block is PCB mounted, with screw tightening

pressure and one of two levels (one ore double

decker).

Advantages:

- Marking on Terminal Blocks guaranties a safe and

easy wire installation.

- Field technician is in contact with rather robust

terminal blocks.

- There is no chance of damage on delicate and

expensive electronic device

- Checking of the connection and testing of installation

can be done on Terminal Block side easily and quickly

- One pole on Terminal Block is reserved for grounding

of D-sub connector metal housing.
