regulators available in SO−8 and Micro−8 surface mount packages and
a wide range of output voltages. These devices feature a very low
quiescent current (100 μA in the ON mode; 0.1 μA in the OFF mode),
and are capable of supplying output currents up to 100 mA. Internal
current and thermal limiting protection is provided. They require only
a small output capacitance for stability.
