Is power applied to the MAX7314 EV kit V+ PC pad
or is jumper JU1 configured to pins 2 and 3 to
receive power from the USB interface? This is
required for powering U1.
If using the EV kit’s on-board interface, are the SCL
and SDA signals pulled up to +3.3V? If using a user-
supplied interface, are the SCL and SDA signals
