Connect a 1.6 kΩ, power resistor (150 W or greater) to the output (labeled “400 V, 100W).
Connect a DC Voltmeter to the output.
Connect an AC supply to the terminals labeled “Input”. Set the compliance limit to 3 A.
Set the AC supply to 88 V
Turn the AC source on. The Voltmeter should read 405 V +/- 15 V within 10 seconds.
There may be some observable variation in the measurement. This is ok, but should not
exceed 20 V from the average reading.
Increase AC supply to 115 V, 230 V, and 264 V. Verify that the output is 405 V and that
there is no noise.
Turn off the AC supply.
Wait for the DC Voltmeter to read about 0 V.
Disconnect the DC Voltmeter.
