4.6.2.4 X.25 PAD Parameters
All %L registers can be viewed using the %Ln? command.
%L3 (Selection of Data Forwarding Characters)
This register is used to specify the characters which, when received from the DTE, will cause the current
packet of data to be transmitted. If set to zero, the packet is not transmitted until either the idle timer (%L4)
expires, or the packet becomes full (%B3). The values listed below may be added together to combine the
character sets indicated. The characters are as described in the ASCII character set.

Note: If %L3 and %L4 are both 0, characters will be forwarded as they become available.

Description
Channel number.
Description
Specifies the duration of the timer (in units of 1/20
second) that, when it expires, causes the contents of
the current packet to be forwarded. If set to zero, there
is no timed forwarding.

number of characters have been sent to the DTE a
carriage return and line feed are sent to ensure that lines
do not exceed the required length. A value of zero
disables line folding.
