0* = Ready to charge the smart battery.
1 = Charging is inhibited; charge current is 0mA.
This status bit returns the value of the CHG_INHIBITED flip-flop.
Always returns a zero
0 = Battery voltage is limited at the set point.
1 = Battery voltage is less than the set point.
0 = Battery current is limited at the set point.
1 = Battery current is less than the set point.
Always returns a 1
Always returns a zero
0 = The ChargeCurrent() value is valid for the MAX1535.
1 = The ChargeCurrent() value exceeds the MAX1535 output range, i.e.,
programmed ChargeCurrent() exceeds 0x1F80.
0 = The ChargeVoltage() value is valid for the MAX1535.
1 = The ChargeVoltage() value exceeds the MAX1535 output range, i.e.,
programmed ChargeVoltage() exceeds 0x4B00.
0 = THM is < 91% of the reference voltage.
1 = THM is > 91% of the reference voltage.
0 = THM is < 75% of the reference voltage.
1 = THM is > 75% of the reference voltage.
0 = THM has not dropped to < 23% of the reference voltage.
1 = THM has dropped to < 23% of the reference voltage.
THERMISTOR_HOT flip-flop cleared by BATTERY_PRESENT = 0 or writing a 1
into the POR_RESET bit in the ChargerMode() command.
0 = THM is > 5% of the reference voltage.
1 = THM is < 5% of the reference voltage.
Returns the state of the ALARM_INHIBITED flip-flop. This flip-flop is set by either
a watchdog timeout or by writing an AlarmWarning() command with bits 12, 14,
or 15 set. This flip-flop is cleared by BATTERY_PRESENT = 0, or writing a 1 into
the POR_RESET bit in the ChargerMode() command, or by receiving
successive ChargeVoltage() and ChargeCurrent() commands.
0 = ACIN is above the REF/2 threshold.
1 = ACIN is below the REF/2 threshold.
0 = No battery is present (V
1 = Battery is present (V
0 = DCIN is below the 7.5V undervoltage threshold.
1 = DCIN is above the 7.5V undervoltage threshold.
