Description of Change:

Due to supplier closings, manufacturing equipment age, and environmental restrictions, Sharp is ending

the production of several Optoelectronics Products. Alternates are available for some parts (see Sug-

gested Alternative Part Numbers), but these alternatives may require design assessment. Your local

Sharp Representative is available to help in these cases.

Effect of Change:

These part numbers will move to a category “D” (Discontinued) classification effective immediately.

Upon receipt of this notice distributors will have the option to return parts that are in stock, provided the

product was not category type “C” (Non-changeable, Non-Refundable) when ordered. Product must be

in either factory sealed or Sharp warehouse sealed boxes, as per the terms of our agreement. Requests

must be received within 60 days of receipt of this notice.
