When you’re certain that
the cell will fit properly
within the cavity, place two
drops of hot glue (each the
size of a small pea) in
cavity #4, as shown in
Figure 23.
Place one of the cells with
the 10” long tabbing wires
(prepared in Step 7) with
the tabs pointing towards
the left (away from the two
Base Panel thru holes), in
the cavity and gently push
down with two fingers
directly over the glue
droplets, and hold for about
30 seconds or until the glue
cures. See Figure 24.
Glue two more cells in
cavities 3 and 2, each with
their tabs pointing left.
Slightly bend the tabbing
wires up and out of the
way (they will eventually be
soldered across the tops of
the adjacent cells). See
Figure 25. Be careful to
not stress the cell as you
bend the wires gently
upward.
