ELECTRICAL CHARACTERISTICS
6.1.
Contact Resistance, Low Level (LLCR)
The low-level contact resistance shall not exceed 20 milliohms (40 milliohms after environmental
exposure) when measured in accordance with EIA 364-23.The LLCR, between the shield tabs and the
plug, shall not exceed 80 milliohms after environmental exposure.
The following details shall apply:

Where required measure LLCR between (non-gold plated) shield and shielded portion of plug by
attaching leads as close to contact area as practical
Single and Multi-Port Jack Assemblies
Method of Connection: Attach current and voltage leads as shown in Figure 4.
Test Voltage: 20 millivolts DC maximum open circuit
Test Current: Not to exceed 1.0 milliamperes
