10/100 Ethernet PHY Power-On Reset input
(Active Low).
10/100 Operation Mode Select Pins (MODE <2:0>)
0 = Auto-Negotiation Enable with all capabilities.
1 = Auto-Negotiation with 100 Base-TX.
2 = Auto-Negotiation with 10 Base-T, FDX/HDX.
3 = Reserved.
4 = Manual selection of 100 Base-TX, FDX.
5 = Manual selection of 100 Base-TX, HDX
6 = Manual selection of 10 Base-T, FDX
7 = Manual selection of 10 Base-T, HDX
This pin is internally pulled to GND.
See MODE 0 above. This pin is internally pulled to
GND.
See MODE 0 Above. This pin is internally pulled to
GND.
Transmitting Frame signal (Active Low). This pin goes
low when transmission occurs on the 10/100 interface.
This signal would be seen as toggling in low data traffi c
conditions. In heavy traffi c conditions, the user can see
this as continuously glowing/toggling at a quick rate.
Receiving Frame signal (Active Low). This pin goes
low when receive occurs on the 10/100 interface. This
signal would be seen as toggling in low data traffi c
conditions. In heavy traffi c conditions, the user can see
this as continuously glowing/toggling at a quick rate.
Link Status signal (Active High). This pin goes high
when the 10/100 link is detected. Once the link is
active, this pin toggles to indicate a data transfer when
traffi c occurs on the 10-/100 interface.
Speed Indicator for 10 / 100 Ethernet
High for 100 Mbps.
Collision Detected (Active Low). This pin goes low
when a collision is detected on the 10/100 interface.
Collisions occur in half-duplex mode of operation with
traffi c load on the 10/100 interface. This signal would be
seen as toggling in low data traffi c conditions. In heavy
traffi c conditions, the user can see this as continuously
glowing/toggling at a quick rate.
Full Duplex mode (Active High). This pin goes high
when the 10/100 interface is in full duplex mode.
