The FS6989 is a single-phase full wave brushless
DC motor driver IC with the functions for thermal
shutdown, lock protection, power polarity reverse
protection, hall bias circuit and external PWM speed
control. The driver is optimal for single coil fan
applications with less external components.
The FS6989 is available in an 8-lead MSOP-8
package.
