Using an external character generator ROM, and 8 x 16 pixel font can be used, allowing a 16 x 16-
pixel character to be displayed in two segments. The external CG ROM EPROM data format is
described in Section 10-1. This will allow the display of up to 128, 16 x 16-pixel characters. If CG
RAM is also used, 96 fixed characters and 32 bank-switchable characters can also be supported.
