Table 3-3 shows the valid DIP switch settings for the EVAL-ADV7174/79EBM. The 8-
way DIP switch is used by the microconverter to determine, at power-up/reset, what the
default settings are used.
To enable robust and easy evaluation of the EVAL-ADV7174/79EBM the various
power supplies have been designed in to the evaluation boards. Externally, the only
power required is one single supply, which is recommended to be rated at 7V to 9V and
have a minimum supply current of 1.6 amps. Both modules can be supplied
independently, or daisy-chain linked. Table 3-4 lists the different supply rails and the
voltage on each.
