The Envirostat FP4E is an electronic thermostat designed to
give energy efficient frost protection to pipe work where
thermal insulation alone cannot protect pipes from freezing or
being damaged by ice. The FP4E can also be used in
temperature
requirement to maintain a fluid at a desired temperature.
With solid state reliability, this product can be fitted and left to
monitor the application. The built in soft start function ensures
that each time power is initialised, the load is energised
gradually to suppress the increased inrush current associated
with this type of application This will help to significantly
increase the life of the heater tape and protect against any
weaknesses.
