2. Be sure the surfaces of the two Flat Connector Plugs on which line colors
To remove a Connector once it has been attached, press in on the latches on
both sides of the Connector and pull it out.
Branching is not possible using multidrop connections.
The cable length for the trunk line, sub-trunk lines, branch lines, and sub-
branch lines can be extended by up to 10 levels by using Flat Connectors. The
maximum extendable length, however, is the maximum trunk line length.
(Refer to 2-3-3 Maximum Distance and Number of Connected Units for Types
of Communications Cables.)
Attach a DCN4-BR4 Flat Connector Plug to a DCN4-TR4 Flat Connector
Socket connected to Communications Cable.
Be sure the surface of the Flat Connector Plug on which line colors are indi-
cated (red, white, black, and blue) is facing downward and press in the Con-
nector until it clicks into place.
