Product Description
The Intel
IXP2400 is a highly integrated, programmable data processor that provides high-performance
parallel processing power and flexibility to a wide variety of OC-48 (2.5 Gb/s) networking,
communications, and data-intensive applications.
The IXP2400 has a store and forward architecture that combines a state-of-the-art Intel XScale core
with eight multithreaded, independent 32-bit RISC data engines that, when combined, can provide
a total of 5.4 giga-operations per second.
