values once hard reset is completed. The minimum power consumption is achieved by
the hard standby state. This operating mode complies with section 3.1 of the SMIA Func-
tional Specification.
The MT9D014 can reduce power consumption by switching to the soft standby state
when the output is not needed. Register values are retained in the soft standby state.
Once this state is reached, soft reset can be optionally enabled to return all register
values back to the default. The details of the sequence are shown in Figure 26.
