The VLD (voltage level detector) detects the battery end of life with respect to a programmable threshold.
1.1.2 XE8805 vs XE8805A
The XE8805A has a new RESET pin function. The action of the RESET pin of the XE8805A resets the clock
registers too and creates an additional short delay. See the RESET chapter for more information.
