TEST AND OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
The populated PCB is configured to create a voltage divider from V
2.5 k pull-up resistor (R2), the MCP4021-103I/SN (10 k ) and a 2.5 k pull-down
resistor (R3). To quickly evaluate the digital potentiometer’s performance, the following
test equipment is required:
• 2.7V to 5.5V power supply
• Voltmeter or Digital Multimeter (DMM)
Figure 2-1 shows the Digital Potentiometer Evaluation Board PCB, components and
the connection points that will be used in the step-by-step demonstration.
