THD+N, k2 - k5 Distortion Analysis
Each time the LEVEL SPL mode is selected the A-weighting
filter is pre-set by default.
For most of the ML1 applications, the sound
pressure level measurements require the
use of the A-weighting filter. To prevent
wrong filter settings, causing wrong non-
usable test results, the default filter setting
of the “LEVEL->SPL” mode is A-weighting
(A-WTD).
The previously used filter description
“Linear“ has been changed to the proper
english term “Flat“ for no filter setting.
The THD+N menu measures additionally
the 2nd, 3rd, 4th & 5th harmonics distortion
simultaneously. Select the individual test to
be displayed below the main THD+N test
result.
