8. Si825x Application Builder
In addition to the IDE, the Si825x family is supported with an intuitive toolset that leverages traditional power supply
control design methods minimizing the digital supply design learning curve. The toolset consists of a real-time
firmware Kernel (C-language source code), and the Application Builder (see Figure 8). The Application Builder
includes device peripheral configuration options with the Peripheral Configuration Wizard. Additionally, the
Application Builder tools are used to modify Kernel operations. Three key development tools within the Application
Builder are the DPWM Timing Diagram Editor, the System Parameter Programmer, and the Compensation
Editor. These tools are detailed in the following sections. The flow diagrams for the Kernel are included on the CD.
