The Z8 Encore! XP F1680 Series products contain three 16-bit reloadable timers that can
be used for timing, event counting, or generation of pulse-width modulated signals. The

In addition to the timers described in this chapter, the Baud Rate Generator (BRG) of
unused UART peripheral may also be used to provide basic timing functionality. For more
