EVALUATION KIT II USER’S GUIDE
The Evaluation Kit is designed to be a teaching and
prototyping tool. It is not designed to be a production
programmer and therefore is not capable of performing
more than a few programming sessions per day.
The user is encouraged to use the PRO MATE II Micro-
chip Universal Programmer and the appropriate inter-
changeable programming sockets when programming
quantities of devices. The interchangeable program-
ming sockets support the DIP, SOIC, TSSOP packages
and In-Circuit Serial Programming, as necessary.
The Eval Kit’s In-Circuit Programming is restricted to
the Demonstration Transmitters included in the kit.
The Transmitter’s Programming Connector, Figure 7-
12, provides connection to the Main Board.
