If a single ended clock is input on pin 3, then pins 1 and
2 are unused and should be tied to GND.
CLKIN
If a crystal is used connect it across pins 1 and 2.
If a differential clock is input, AC couple it to these pins.
When used as a differential input, a 100 ohm resistor
should be placed across these pins and located very
close to the device.
