11.2 Waveform type: Pulse
The pulse waveform has the following control panel. The only change from the prior control panel
is an option to select the duty cycle of the pulse (in place of displaying the samples/cycle). The
valid duty cycle values are determined by the integer value samples/cycle (which is equal to
“Conv Rate Hz” divided by “Freq Hz”). Assuming the samples/cycles is equal to “n”, then the
value duty cycles are 100/n, 100*2/n, … 100*(n-1)/n. For example, if the samples/cycle is 6, the
valid duty cycles are 16.67%, 33.33%, 50.00%, 66.67%, 83.33%. The “Duty Cycle” entry is forced
to the nearest valid value.
