24.7.1 Registers used for self-programming function
(1) Flash programming mode control register (FLPMC)
The following three registers are used for the self-programming function.
• Flash programming mode control register (FLPMC)
• Flash protect command register (PFCMD)
• Flash status register (PFS)
This register is used to enable or disable writing or erasing of the flash memory and to set the operation mode
during self-programming.
FLPMC can be written only in a specific sequence (see 24.7.1 (2) Flash protect command register (PFCMD))
so that the application system does not stop inadvertently due to malfunction caused by noise or program hang-
up.
FLPMC can be set by a 1-bit or 8-bit memory manipulation instruction.
RESET input sets FLPMC to 0XH
