In general purpose framing mode, there is no frame synchronization or overhead bit indicators – the sync inputs
should be held high. The receive data streams should contain only serialized ATM cells. The transmit data will only
contained serialized ATM cells.

The M2852x has interleaved highway interfaces (8-M28529, 4-M28525) as illustrated in
37. Four serial data streams can be combined together into one serial data stream using an Interleaved Highway
