EPROM programmers equipped with a parallel interface can be used only in remote mode .
This class include the following EPBs:
• ST62E3X
• ST62E8X
• ST63E73
EPROM programmers equipped with a serial interface can be used in both remote and stand-
alone modes .
This class include the following EPBs:
• ST62E2XC
• ST62E4X
• ST62E6X
• ST63E1XX
In both modes, the customer can protect the devices against further reading.
1.2 EQUIPMENT
The supplied equipment comprises:
1.2.1 Serial EPROM PROGRAMMER
• 1 ST6 remote programmer
• 1 25-pin serial communication cable
• 1 adapter 9/25 for PC/AT
• 1 blank EPROM
• 1 "MCU ON CD" CD-ROM
