Functional description
Viewfinder to live/ Live to viewfinder The sensor field and frame lengths are set according to the
user defined Live/Capture frame rate and data output format. The latency of this transition is
minimal. See
Figure 25: Viewfinder to live or live to viewfinder
Idle to capture Data is grabbed as fast as possible for exposure and white balance convergence.
When the system is stable (or timed-out), the user settings are sent to the sensor. See
Figure 26: Idle to capture timing
Viewfinder to capture Two cases can occur:
1 The system (exposure, white balance) is already stable in viewfinder mode. The user settings
2 The system has not stabilized. STV0974 enters transient mode and, when stable, automatically
are sent to the sensor. The processed frame is sent after a short latency.
