The pins are programmable
on a pin by pin basis. The setting of the multiplex
pins are determined by the configuration byte during reset. After reset, all
pins are configured as general-purpose parallel I/O. These pins are connected
to J3,
LA2 and LA3.

PROGRAMMABLE
TIMER/COUNTER
The MCF5307
has two built in general purpose timer/counters. These timers
are available to the user.
The signals
for the timer are available on the LA4 to
be viewed by a logic analyzer.
These pins are connected to J3 as well.
