Step 4: Identifying the Cabling Ends
For the OTDR and Loss/Length testing tutorials in this
chapter, you will save test results from both ends of the
cabling. To identify the test directions in the saved results,
enter END information on the Job tab as follows:
4-1 On the Job tab select END 1. Use the softkeys,
4-2 On the Job tab select END 2. Use the softkeys,
4-3 On the Job tab, verify that THIS END is set to END 1.
Step 5: Setting the Save Warning
If you do not save a test, it is deleted from temporary
memory when you run another test. To enable or disable a
warning that reminds you to save the test, do the
following:
