Lead Free Status / Rohs Status
Lead free / RoHS Compliant
Application
4-28
Motor is over-
heating.
There are
unusual noises.
The parameters
cannot be
changed.
Output torque is
insufficient
Symptom
The ambient temperature is too
high.
The ventilation is obstructed.
There is an overload.
The machinery is vibrating.
The speed loop gain adjustment
is insufficient.
The parameters are write-pro-
tected.
The motor has only made small
movements (approx. 6 pulses
of encoder resolution) from the
power supply position.
Probable cause
Check to be sure that the ambi-
ent temperature around the
motor is no higher than 40 C.
Check to see whether anything
is blocking ventilation.
Use the Monitor Mode to check
the electrothermal value.
Inspect the machinery to see
whether there are any foreign
objects in the movable parts, or
whether there is any damage,
deformation, or looseness.
---
Check the computer’s
monitoring software.
---
Items to check
Lower the ambient temperature
to 40 C or lower. (Use a cooler
or fan.)
Ensure adequate ventilation.
Fix any problems causing vibra-
tion.
Using the computer’s monitoring
software, release the write
protection.
After making the motor perform
rotations of over 6 pulses,
re-attempt normal operation.
Lighten the load.
Change to a larger capacity
motor.
Use auto-tuning.
Adjust the gain manually.
